Tony Stewart Agrees With Me About NASCAR

Tony Stewart on Sirius Radio Show

As much as I hate it, I have to agree with Tony Stewart, who happens to agree with my previous rant about NASCAR treating it’s fans like they’re stupid.

Tuesday night on his Sirius Radio show Tony said arguably the same thing I had said a few days earlier.

Here’s some of the quotes from Tony Stewart:

” It’s like playing God, ” he said on his Sirius Satellite Radio program. ” They can almost dictate the race instead of the drivers doing it. It’s happened too many times this year. “

About NASCAR and their propensity to throw a caution flag if one car gets too far ahead of the field, Tony said:

” I guess NASCAR thinks, ‘Hey, wrestling worked, and it was for the most part staged, so I guess it’s going to work in racing, too, ” he said.

” I can’t understand how long the fans are going to let NASCAR treat them like they’re stupid before the fans finally turn on NASCAR. I don’t know that they’ve run a fair race all year. “

He said a lot more and ESPN has a great review of the situation, so I’ll link you to their article.

They’ll soon suffer for treating their fans like their stupid.

Don’t make the same mistake in your own business.

Tomorrow we’ll go back to our regularly scheduled programming !

    Tony Stewart,

Mr. Tough guy Tony Stewart has turned into the absolute worst cry baby of them all. He hated LV race way, was the track and the tires not the same for all the other 42 drivers? Hates the COT, every other race team has to deal with it! Nascar is and will continue to work out the bugs, its new and of course they have things to work out. Nascar is not perfect, so why don’t you set down with them like an adult and state your concerns and work to make it better. Instead you refuse interviews after races, then go on the air crying how bad things are, seems NASCAR has made you million, yet you are not trying to help them get better. You just want to cry sour milk. Go race in another series, no one questions you are one of the best race car drivers in the world. It’s to bad you have turned into a spoiled cry baby!!!

I was one of those short track NASCAR drivers in the early seventies, who would have loved to have had a chance to be where you are. I have watched and supported NASCAR for a long time and used to be one of your biggest supporters. No longer you are an embarassment. Last week you got out raced and you don’t to take responsibility you have to blame someone else.

Go Junior, Mark, Jimmy !!! Thanks for keeping Class

    Sincerely,

    Ray

    Hey Ray,

    Thanks for the opinion.

We appreciate you taking time to chime in.

You made some valid points and some that I wouldn’t agree with, but we let ‘em all ride here.

    Come back soon.

I would have to agree about some NASCAR cry babies. When they complain about the sport that’s like whining when someone gives you a million dollars about how much trouble it is to carry it.

Go buy a clue and thank God for the opportunities you are given in this world.

    Christina
