Sales Lessons From The Tampa Bay Rays

by Mike Sigers on October 19, 2008

If you’ve been watching the MLB ALCS, you’ve had to be impressed with one thing the Rays do as well as anyone out there:

They swing for the fences.

If you’re gonna play, you might as well play hard.

If you’re gonna swing, you might as well swing hard.

They might not be the biggest name out there, but they don’t let it stop them from going after what they want.

If you want to sell more, adopt the same attitude and go after those “whale” accounts and those “whale” sales.

You’re gonna work your 8-10 hours anyway, so why not try to hit a homerun each and every day.
