Thanks Brad !

I hope it helps everyone else as much as me.

But how about this...as soon as I buy ecto, WP 2.0 comes out and bills itself as more intuitive.

Hey Matt, you been buggin' my home office ?

Mike,

I started using ecto last month. It has some pros and cons. There are a few bugs that you have to get used to, but I think the pros defiantely overpower the bugs. Tagging is nice, also, the formatting is good.

some tips:

1. give two line breaks at the end of each post if you are going to insert tags. Keeps them xhtml compliant.
2. Keep in mind ecto pings every time you update a post, so if you edit your posts a lot, you will ping and reping...might lead to getting banned from sites like pingomatic, pingoat. So what I do is post with ecto and then edit with my normal typepad account in browser.
3. If you refresh your profile, all of your saved tags (in the program) disappear. Simply reopen and close the last 10 or so posts to get them back.

Thats all I can think of for now. Hope it helps.
