I’m amazed every, single time I hear Miranda Lambert sing a song that’s new to me.
For some strange reason, I hear a sales and marketing related phrase in her work, yet I’m quite sure she didn’t do it on purpose.
Quite, Dang. Sure.
For years and years and more years than I care to remember, I was a hammer, as it relates to the sales process. Work hard, sell hard and damn the torpedoes.
Now days, I’m a bit more subdued with my clients.
I still need work on it as it applies to my co-workers.
I still need TONS of work with my wife and daughters.
Tons. Of. Work.
Being a hammer and trying to nail everything is not especially successful in the world of sales in 2009.
Now days, you need to be more of a teacher, more of a trainer and more like these guys, the two guys behind the world’s best sales and marketing related podcast.
