5 Down, 2495 More To Go

Favorites at Technorati

Okay, so I’m a little behind a curve … or two. I just noticed over at Technorati that 5 people, 5 really fine, outstanding, super-kind, very smart, forward thinking superstars, have made Simplenomics one of their favorite blogs.

Last time I checked, there were like 2500 of you per day that dropped by, so the fact that only 5 of you really like me enough to make me a favorite means I’m not doing enough for you, not the obverse.

So today, I’m gonna make a special deal of dropping some link leak on the 5 special people who made my day.

If you happen to mark this blog as one of your faves after today, I’ll be doing the same for you and hopefully sending some of those 2500 your way.

The fact that these 5 people are really good bloggers makes my job an easy one.

Over at ConverStations, Mike Sansone talked recently about graduates entering the workforce and ways they could make that leap a successful one.

Jeff Jenkins hasn’t added any posts in over 130 days and his blog seems to be down. Anybody know what happened to Jeff ?

Brandon Hull gives us a quick, down and dirty, yet actionable post about telephone etiquette. Kinda simple, which I like. But you knew that already.

Liz is Liz is Liz. What more can one say about someone who’s helped more people become successful bloggers than anyone else who’s written about all the things they don’t teach you in Business school.

And last but not least of the fave 5 is William Wingo. I’ve never seen, spoken to or read a comment by William, but if he’s kind enough to make me a favorite, he’s fine enough to get linked to.

Thanks to these 5 fine friends of Simplenomics. Please join them in making Simplenomics one of your favorite blogs over at Technorati.

Why should you ? Well, as Al Purnell would say, ” ‘Cause it’s goooood ! “

What is the benefit in being selected as a Technorati favorite?

    Hey Chris,

Since I didn’t even know such a feature existed, I have no idea if it has any tangible benefits or not.

I do have a mantra that I believe in though :

” You can’t have too many friends. ”

Basically I was just jealous that when I looked at those other blogs I saw that they had way more favorite links than I had and it made me want more, moRE, MORE !

BTW - thats a nice take on the Cutline theme on your blog.

    Hi Mike!
    You’re still a favorite. :)
That means I get to know whenever you post and you come up on my home page over there.

So I guess that makes you a “homey” too. :)

    Thanks Liz !

It’s good to be friendly, but it’s even better to have friends.

I’ve never “favorited” any blogs, partly because T-RATI KEEPS FORGETTING TO INDEX MY BLOGS!!!(But I’m not bitter:-)

Also, no one’s asked me. But, since you’ve asked, and because I used to tell my sales classes that “If you don’t ask, you don’t get!” you’re now one of my favorites, both in my aggregator (where you’ve been for months) and in T-rati.

    Regards,

    Glenn

    7 down, 2493 to go !

Thanks Glenn ! That post of yours about Kansas City BBQ made me hungry.

And you still managed to teach us about customer service … even over dinner.

    You da man !
